They still removed all top gear episodes pre-series 17

I am still mad they pulled the reboot of BSG off before I could finish it.

it's better than nothing. if youre resourceful all the older ones are out there waiting to be pirated.

Yes but I don't want to be reresourceful. I want to be lazy hahaha

It looks like it's time to re-watch some Fawlty Towers.

BBC is taking some measures to fight piracy apparently. And since these shows aren't available in most countries they realized they can monetize these shows by allowing them on more platforms (since the BBC iPlayer isn't available in 97% of the world).
They're (supposedly) broadcasting the new episodes of Top Gear live on YouTube next week. They even did it yesterday with their "And evening with Top Gear" special:

If you like British tv-shows you should take a look at Broadchurch and Hinterland (noir crime dramas set in the UK.)

I misread your headline.

I will thanks!

That's great, but are we going to get Series 21.

Just be aware that there's some (heavy) use of actors from Doctor Who/Torchwood in both shows..

fuck i could go for a taco right now

Especially when you're already paying for a service to deliver such things.

BBC seems to be all about finding a few actors and using them everywhere.
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:05 |

Indeed, same as Hollywood :P
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:06 |

True but I find myself watching more BBC then Hollywood.

Broadchurch was brilliant, it's American remake not so much.
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:10 |

Broadchurch was fucking EPIC.. :) They've made an american remake?
The only American "remake" I've ever enjoyed was The Killing.
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:12 |

If it's made by BBC or ITV it's probably good... Whitechapel, spooks, Broadchurch etc etc..
![]() 01/19/2015 at 13:17 |
|
If it comes out of Hollywood it's probably crap.

Depends though.. Do I wanna watch something like "The expendables 15"? Or do I lust for something a bit more nordic :)
I LOVED the silly stuff in the expendables franchise :) And Brad Pitt was awesome in mostly whatever the fuck he did :).
That said, Nordic shit is the best shit, Girl with the dragon tattoo is awesome (original version).

Yeah, I watched the first 10ish minutes and was like, "The British is better." Especially because Tennant in an American accent is weird. It was basically the same thing just renamed Gracepoint. Same story and all.

Ahh.. yeah.. Tennant sounds strange with an american accent.. Same with "Sick Boy" on the Elementary thingy (I loved that show though.)
